Question Alternatives to 12-step...

Hi everyone,

I posted a similar question on the secular forum, but I thought I'd check over here, too...

Without offending anyone, does anyone know of any self-help programs for family of people with addictions that are not God/higher-power based? I know that they have helped many thousands of people, and I'm truly glad they exist, but I don't really believe in God, and I'm not at all comfortable with the idea of turning over my life to anyone or anything else, so I don't feel like they would be helpful for me personally. But I do know that I am going through a really weird time and am not dealing with it very well internally, so I'd like to try something. Any thoughts?

BTW - I feel like I post a lot - sorry if I'm bugging anyone

~Daisy
