Thanks for that firestorm. A good laugh was really what i needed and did me the world of good. I was wondering if 'digg it' means yeah it's great or it's so bad let's bury it.But your interpretation is even better and i still can't stop laughing; is this another symptom of WD -hysterical laughter?
Hi JJB,
I never use them myself. It appears they are methods of social bookmarking. Wikipedia has an explanation that might help.

with all the good sites on the net and the many worthless sites, social bookmarking sites are where people rate different sites on how usefull/cool they are. I use Stumbleupon and everytime i do a google search i get a stumbleupon rating of each hit which lets me know how good the site is based on the opionions of others who have been there.
I've never heard of Furl. Huh. I use Digg, it's sort of a way of voting on websites. The more Diggs a site has, the higher its ranking is. Doesn't serve much use in a forum, though, I mostly use it for news articles. StumbleUpon works on a similar principle, I think. I've never used Technocrati or del.icio.us, but I'd assume they do as well.
