Back to Day One

Well, I have made it full circle. Day one of sobriety. About two weeks ago, I though I could control the intake of alcohol, but not the case. I've been drinking heavily the past few days and I can't take it. I've contacted a friend that is a recovering pain pill addict and he gave me a phone number of a guy to contact for support locally. I believe he is with AA. Not sure but I will find out tomorrow. I have a meeting with him.

Anyway, hope all my friends are well on this board and if you're into it, add me into your prayers.

Tuco

Dude Hang in there. I was in Detox while in army and thought when I got out I would be kewl drinking a beer. One beer led to 12 to 24. I know the feeling when you find yourself cross-eyed and thinking guess this didnt work out too well.

If you stick to it you will find each day ez'r But I have found I can never drink just one without it growing back to an issue.

Keep in mind today is the only day you need to worry about.

Flip on day2 -Again

Hey Tuco,

Keep trying, early recovery is most challenging...
I slipped a few weeks before I was able to maintain sobriety...

Sobriety is possible, keep posting...

Me also it took me a while to realize I had no control over it... I am an alcoholic and can't just have 1 drink although I tried many times... Good luck!!

Welcome back. Day 1 is a start. Don't drink or use and go to meetings, ask for help. For me, I couldn't do it on my own. "One is too many and a thousand is never enough."
