Help!!!!!!!!
Yeasterday I had a hard day resisting getting LOrtabs and I did really good. AS of today I am 10 days off of them, but now I have a real problem. I went to physical therapy for my neck and back. It was a very intense session, now Im hurting so bad I can barely move. I am taking everything you can think of that is non narcotic but nothing is easing the pain. I dont want to use my pain as an excuse to abuse but what do I do????? Advice please
I just recently I went to my doctor
for pain in my left leg. Come to find
out i have advanced arthritist in my
hip which will have to be replaced
soon.
When i initially went to the doctor
before being diagnoised i was put
on pain medicine. However i emmed-
iately told my doctor not to prescribe
me anything narcotic or habit forming.
So there are things the doctor can give
u that is safe for u in recovery.

Hi Grace,
I'm sorry you are in pain. Have you visited our Recovery and Pain Management forum, yet? Today, when I have pain, I do whatever I can to avoid taking something for it, unless it's severe, and then it's ibuprofen or tylenol.
Welcome to our site. Good luck and hang in there - 10 days is great.

Hi grace, great job on resisting the urge yesterday. Now with physical pain it will be even harder but you can do it! I agree with Sharon, there are non-narcotic pain meds available that you could call your doctor about. Hang in there and be strong hun, it will be okay.
