if my fiance is taking 10mg methadone.. and the methadone clinic says.. to wean yourself off of them u will have to go up mgs before u can wean urself off, does this sound right or abunch of bs?

My understanding is that you do have to wean yourself off slowly to avoid withdrawl symptoms that can be serious.
