I haven't spoken to him but the temp agency left 2 messages today. I'm sure I was listed as his emergency contact and that's why I got the calls. I didn't call back. They said his assignment has now ended because he was a no call/no show.

In the meantime, I am working 3 jobs to support OUR children.

The only thing that bothered me was that he has been working for the last 2 months and hasn't contributed a dime to our childrens' care. I know a judge will order back child support once I get the divorce filed but it still irks me.

Still happy as a clam without him though!

Good to hear your happy.
And if you can manage without his support look on the back pay as a bonus, treat yourselves when you get it.

I understand too well the lack of child support. Despite my youngest daughter's father being in AA and sober for 13 years when I got pregnant with her, he still wasn't there for her.

For many years his income tax return was intercepted for back support. He ran a double set of books on his business for many years to hide income.

What little support I got wasn't even enough to pay for daycare, but finally when my daughter was 11, CSE petitioned the court for a substantial increase. I won.

I learned not to count on it, that's for sure.

It's not good that you're getting no support but on the up side, if you were still together you'd be supporting him too!!!!!

Amen! I have had many blessings & curses over the last 2 weeks. None of them have compared to the bad times I had with STBX. Not a one. I smile & laugh way more than I ever did while I was with my abusive AH. Life is really, really good these days.
