Finally cut the last connection
It's taken long enough for me to do it but after 9 months of no contact on my part I have blocked him from contacting me by email.
Goodness knows why I didn't do this sooner? Might have been that a part of me hoped that the split would finally get him to clean up his act
Seems such a small thing to do and it is but yet it also seems significant to cut this final tie as life moves forward.

I know that feeling.....
It is significant to cut that last string.... I can remember changing my phone number and cutting the last form of communication on an old relationship. Funny sometimes it just has to "feel" right before I can do it. Afterwords I have always felt better/stronger though.

Well I'd get drunken rambles or a pack of lies and wasn't responding to either so it seemed a bit pointless. I think starting a new job in a fortnight adds to it too, you know, new beginings :-)
