Glad you found us! Like others have said, this is a fantastic support support system for anyone in Recovery. If you notice, not only is there the Newcomers Section, but forums are also broken down into alcoholism and drug addiction as well as AA & NA if you choose to work one of these Programs as well, which I highly recommend by the way.

I was in and out, trying for 25 years before I finally got serious. There are some basic slogans that you will more than likely hear quite often, but they are so true. One Day at A Time, Keep it Simple, Let Go & Let God, HOW, H onesty, O penmindedness and W illingness. . . . there are many.

Share as much as you are comfortable with, and read, read, read. Also, after you have, I believe 5 posts, you can send and receive PM's, which are personal messages only seen by the person sending it and the person receiving it.

Ask lots of questions, the only "dumb questions" are the one's you don't ask!
