About paying it forward, the most Amazing
About paying it forward, the most Amazing
Thing happened to me today. I work at a cosmetic dermatologist office, I do the third shift. We do everythiing from cosmetic work to acne to Mohs surgery(my favorite) anyway I was working with a woman who was getting Botox, fillers and a chemical peel, we got to talking about Christmas and she asked if my kids still believe in santa, I told her I had to tell my 9 year old that no, there is no santa because since my divorce things are real tight and it is not going to be a great Christmas this year and I needed him to understand. I Didn't think about what I said meaning anything, it was just conversation... well I cleaned her up and went to go get her some ice packs for the way home, when I got back she handed me what I thought was a $100 bill, I said i can't accept this, she said yes you can and you will have a great Christmas for your kids, I hugged her like I have never hugged anyone, I slipped it into my pocket, when I pulled it out I looked and is was not just 1, but 3 $100 bills. I nearly fainted,
You know when I had money I always shared and I always payed it forward...
I thank God that I'm a good person because it truly comes back around.

Thanks Kermit for sharing your wonderful story. A thought turns into a word, then a deed and then an act. Everyone of us is the same and everything we think, do or say does have an impact on one another. It is a wonderful gift for us to be able to help each other whenever we're presented with the opportunity.
God Bless and have a joyous holiday season.

Thank you for telling that story. It made me get teary. And reminded me of a Christmas when I was a kid. We were very poor and always gave each other homemade presents or something that we thought the other person liked and wanted that we already owned ourselves. (Like one year my little sister gave me her favorite snoopy dog and I new she loved me so much and gave it right back.)
But then, one year, an anonymous person delivered a huge box to us. When my sisters and I opened it, it was filled with a gazillion toys. This person must have been going to the Goodwills all over the area for months and months, buying up all the good toys and dolls. I hadn't really noticed an absence of anything in our Christmases because that's just the way it's always been. But oh my gosh, that Christmas was one of the best days of my childhood. It was so unexpected and so generous and unbelievable.
Thanks for reminding me. Merry Christmas!
