Here are some of my favorite prayers:

Help. Please. Don't.
Show me. Guide me. Change me.
Are you there?
Why'd you do that?
Oh.
Thank you.

Today, I will tell God what I want to tell God, and listen for God's answer. I will remember that I can trust God.

I remember reading something Melody Beattie wrote, she said "Pray for anything you want, God will sort out the junk".

That helped me just open up and talk to God about anything, anytime I just needed to connect with Him.

And like this reading suggests, sometimes my prayers were very simple, just "Help" or "Thank You". As long as they come from my heart, I don't think God cares how wordy or well phrased they are.

Even my favourite prayer "Hey! Now What?"
