Hello to you all, and I hope your all doing ok. I havent posted in a while, its a struggle to get to the computer these days, my daughters beat me to it everytime!!!

This is my update.

"MY NAME IS GILL, AND IM A RECOVERING CODEPENDANT"

The recovery started when i accidentally found SR, frantically trying to find answers to save my ab. Didn't like a lot of things i read, but i kept coming back, and slowly but surely it began to make sense.

I am now free, free from my A but more important i am free from the person inside me that thought so little of myself, who was more damaging to me than any alcoholic.

I am forever grateful for this place, and just want to say THANK YOU.

Venice was AWESOME Bernadette. It was the best week ever, we had so much fun, pizzas and ice cream!!!!!. I'll post some photos when i figure out how to. It's good to be back in control of my life.

Mair, it is wonderful to hear you are doing so well and that your holiday was great fun for you all! Life is truely special isn't it?! I can appreciate that and alot more now without the A and minus alot of fears and stress!

I don't post as much these days because I went back to work full-time at the end of August. Happy I came along today to see your post.
Life is what you make it, and you are make it good.

It is glorious to get away just for fun.
All three of you will remember your trip for a lifetime.
Time with our kids is fleeting...it is just wonderful that you are spending this time
content, happy and healthy. Your focus on them is great.

There's plenty of time for another Welshman to win your heart. I truly believe this will happen.

By the way, my son is still in treatment, for 7 mos. now. His progress is steadfast, so he was promoted to the New York facility this month as part of his treatment.
This includes working on a thoroughbred race-horse breeding and training ranch.
