Hey Hey The Gang's all here!
Who had a good weekend? I did. I had a "Wow" moment this morning, I realized that I went through the entire weekend without really even thinking about drinking. I spent time with the kids, did yard work, and even got a bike ride in. I even bar-b-qued twice. Oh yeah, it goes without saying that I woke up every morning feeling great...
Hope everyone else had some good moments this weekend..

Great for you Heavy!
I actually had a pretty good weekend! Relaxing! I have been staying at
my girlfriends and will be until September 29th or so....I did not go down the
shore to the boyfriends this weekend but rather stayed at her house- I went to my storage unit (Where my entire house is temporarily) and organized all my things so it will be easier to move....
We went out to dinner-hung outside (12 acres) talking...Sunday we had a bbq- and I went to get a pedi and massage! Hung out with my niece and took a nap with her!
It was so relaxing-I'm always doing something when I'm home-so this was a HUGE break for me and actually did stuff for ME!

I had a good one too...now both daughters are back to college, so it's just me, the hubby, the dog and a few mice that have decided to move in. Every fall, my hubby goes into hyper cleaning mode (sorry, guys, but when you want to do something, why does everyone need to get involved???? We love you tho'), and this past weekend was it. *Sigh* Otherwise, when I could get out of cleaning, moving, etc. this or that, I was enjoying the weather and camped out on SR. It's my new addiction, as if I need another one!
Cheers to all my SBSS (pronounced "sibs", translation: "Sisters and Brothers in Search of Sobriety). It doesn't matter how many days we have, because today is the only one that counts!!! Sorry, I'm feeling rather cheerleady today!

Hey Heavy, Cool post. I quietly passed 100 days. Nice weekend. Little shopping, a little freaking over my teen son. And watch a dumb movie at the theaters. (The new one...didn't make me laugh.)
Hi HeavyJ. glad you had a great weekend. They get easier and easier as the weeks go by.
My weekend was all right. My chronic pain was acting up again last week, so it was kind of boring. But at least I got to make it to my meetings and I didn't drink.

I had a fun weekend...except for a close call, not about using though.
Went to the Colorado River in Laughlin Nevada with a bunch of family. Some of us decided we would swim across the river. Everyone made it across Ok, except me. 3/4 of the way I was EXHAUSTED and could not swim anymore. I was swallowing water and coughing. I yelled out to my brother-in-law to help me but he could barely hear me. Finally he could see I was not gonna make it so he swam out to me and saved me.
I have never been so scared in my life and I am SO THANKFUL to be here typing this.
That was a VERY stupid thing to do but I thought I could do it-guess I'd better quit smoking!
