Update on Death of my Son
Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that they have found the girl that was with my son and left him and they are questioning her. That has been the bright spot in my last few days. I still do not know the cause of death. They have sent his autopsy to the University of Wisconsin Hospital where they can do more thorough testing. The medical examiner has stated that they are not sure it was an overdose. I am told it could still be another couple of weeks before I know.
Lets all hope that this girl has it in her to tell the truth about everything.
Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and words of comfort. It has all meant so much and I do hope that I can continue to correspond with you all.

I'm so sorry for your loss Angeleyez...
I lost a son 17 months ago and I still have so many questions.
There was a relative with him who refuses to tell me anything.
Although I don't believe there is ever "closure" losing a child-
knowing is a part of the grieving process.
I pray you get the answers.

I can't imagine what you must be going through.....just know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I did want to just insert a slight caveat here......BE PATIENT. Hopefully you'll get information quickly, or relatively so, but I had a friend whose brother died unexpectantly.....drugs?....accident?.....medical reasons?.... NoOne could/would say. All the family could do was wait for the toxicology report to come in --- it took somewhere about 7 weeks.....!@#$%^&@
Sooooooo, again, I am sooooo sorry for you and your whole family. Keep the faith.... (o: Don't give up..... (o: and be patient..... (o:

Angel, prayers still going up for you and your family.
Yes I hope the girl can be honest, however, keep in mind she may have woke up (come to) to a dead person next to her.
Drugs play hell with the human body and it's organs. It could have been his heart just stopped or he had a heart attack. It could have been a clot from a fall or bump several weeks prior.
Drugs kill in one way or another.
I am sorry for your loss. Please know that your son is now out of his pain, is whole, and the young man you remember before the drugs. Also know, you will see him again!
Love and hugs,

Continued prayers to you and yours for healing and some form of closure. I too lost a beautiful child and know that only time and the strength to walk through the pain of the grieving process can help. It will never be the same, but there is peace and even some joy in life again...it just takes time, whatever time is needed. Prayers of comfort for you.

Hi Angleeyes,
I lost a child as a baby and have a son that is a quadraplegic from an attempted suicide while drunk...our best friends also lost a son to drugs in his home with friends that left him alone when he went into a coma and died and told no one until the next day.
His parents were not told much either...and the autopsy didn't really tell what drug he had overdosed on but they think it might have been methodone that some of his friends had with them.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family...I hope the girl that was with him will tell the investigators the truth too. So many stories were going around amongst this young mans friends that they never did get what was the truth.
Take Care
