Insurance issues and rehab
Insurance issues and rehab
My mom called tonight and apparently she might be out in a couple of days. She's only been in there since Friday.
But she lost her job because of this and I guess she can't be inpatient without insurance. That's probably the dumbest thing I've ever heard. :wtf2
As of tonight she's blaming her drug use on the guy who cheated on her three years ago.
It's not going to change. She's nowhere near ready to come home and I'm not ready to deal with her.
I know she's my mom, but I really think I hate her right now.

How did you become your mother's keeper?
Why does she live with you?
It is important to put yourself, husband, kid's needs in the forefront.
I gues that is the balance you are trying to achieve.
What a disappointment to have your mom inpatient only to find out they can't keep her.
I am so sorry for that big ol' disappointment.

The rehab will have a list of other treatment centers that don't require insurance. They have social workers, etc who know where to get people help. There are also half way houses, sober living, shelters, etc. She doesn't have to return to your home!
