Hello Everyone!
I am new to the site and wanted to introduce myself.
I am a 42 year old recovering alcoholic trying to stay sober. I have 70 days and am just fresh out of I.O.P treatment. In fact that is what prompted me to post today. Normally I would be on my way to group right now. I am looking for friends and support in this very fragile time.
Keeping it Simple,
Wendy

Welcome, Wendy!
A great place, here. I have about the same time sober and could not have done it without the support and sharing I have found here.
Look around and familiarize yourself. I look forward to your sharing.

Hello.....
I find SR to be a vital part of my recovery.
I still attend my AA meetings but this can
be a valuable additional resource for support.

Welcome Wendy. Congrats on the 70 days! Way to go. Gives me hope hearing that after 8 days sober. This site has been crucial to me in these beginning days. I'm learning tons and so grateful for the support/advice and encouragement I've found here 24/7.

Hiya Wendy.
I always want to think of something really wise or funny or entertaining to tell people when they show up here as a newbie.
Unfortunately, Im having a cruddy day and Im fresh out of humor.
I DO want to say welcome though. I have found great comfort in SR, and I hope you will too.
Peace.

Welcome to the forum Wendy. I'm sure you'll find support and friendship as I did here. THis is a big help to me in staying sober. I can come here to whine and ask for help and share experiences. Knowledge is power.
Congratulations on your 70 days!!:ghug3
