Gone...again
Well, my AD came home Friday night and left again today, said she was going to her friends house to get her clothes and make-up, I went to work and she texted me and told me she was staying at the friends house, but I really knew when she left that she would not be back for a while, its strange that I have learned a few things in dealing with my addict....lets see... sometimes the way she looks at me when she leaves, its like she wants to leave but then again she does and she is always emotionally starved when she gets home. I guess I just wish she would just stop.....:praying

Sounds like she really doesn't want to leave but her addiction has a hold on her and she has to go because of it. She may be looking like that at you for you to do something. I'm not saying that you haven't, but if nothing changes, nothing changes. The only way she will stop is when the pattern of abuse is broken. Is she looking at someone to make her stop?
My heart goes out to you because she is so young. It's like you are between a rock and a hard place. I know you don't want to kick her to the curb when she is still a baby........so the abuse goes on. I just wish there was some help out there for you. I haven't experienced this at this young age so I don't really have any advice. I hope someone on here can give you some help.
Sending mom hugs.............Lo

I can't imagine how hard it must be to replay this every weekend.
Maybe while she's gone you could promise yourself to spend good quality time on YOU. She's not in the streets so bask in the calm of your home, or with friends or a good hot bubble bath.
Its amazing how the head clears when we take care of ourselves.
Prayers for clarity and peace
