Confused by the letters!

OK, I get AS, AD, AH (addict son, addict daughter, addict husband) but could someone please tell me where to find what all the rest of the abbreviations mean? Sometimes I see a long string of capital letters in a post and I have no clue!

I struggle with the same thing. I have most of them now but people still post abbreviations and I have no idea what they are talking about.

I would like to see a complete list compiled, and make it a sticky.

IMHO= In my honest opinion
HP= Higher Power
exabf= ex addict boyfriend
exagf= ex addict girlfriend
exah ex addict husband
DH= divorced husband
dw= divorced wife
ss sd sober son/daughter
I'm sure others will be along soon with more. Hope these help some

why do people abbreviate anyhow? We tend to write out longgggggg postings over everything that is going on, but cant write thier name or position? LOL

What is DH? Someone on here talks about her DH and it seems as though they are talking about an AD but I am very confused.

How about STBXAH?
