Tommorrow could have been my 11th month!
Tommorrow could have been my 11th month!
Tommorrow could have been my 11th month of sobriety, but instead, I will
be 30 days sober----again. I was doing many things right.........I was in a great
frame of mind, or was I.........Where did it come from, what happened you might ask, I know I asked, but still, the only thing I could really come up with is that I didn't take it to the next step....
What is the next step? Well, for me it is to go to out patient, I did, go to AA meetings, I am.........I am humbly opening the gates to others in my community (alcoholics) to share my love and hope. Love, for a new beginning, and hope for a
brighter tommorrow...
I thank all here who have shared and continue to share thier struggles and thier hope with me.....
May we all continue our sobriety, one day at a time...

Hope, there is a saying that I have always cherished...
It takes courage to keep trying, and personally I am glad that you didn't give up. I missed you and am glad to see you back where you belong.
Welcome home.

So you had 10 months? You're already back to one and that's awesome Sharon . I'm glad you're still posting and looking for your way. You know what to do... and you're doing it. Can't ask any more from yourself.
* make some tea, take a blanket and curl up on the couch and watch a good movie. Worked then... it'll work now .

Hope We all love you and am glad to have you back. I love your name....you need hope in your daily living..Hope, Strength, and whatever it takes to keep adding to your days of Sobriety...One Day At A Time! :ghug2
Hey Hope good to see ya
You know I coulda, shoulda, woulda, many of times and still do. But what is important is what we are doing today. The past is gone and there is a lesson somewhere in there. You might have to look at what it was but you will find it and if we don't well we all know what happens than.

Well done Hope, you've had a big eleven months in your recovery. The good thing is how disappointed you feel that your sober date is 30 days and not 11 months, that should keep you more prepared in the future. The big thing was coming back after the relapse best wishes.
