I'm wondering if this board is clicky?

I was hoping that support was available for all-not just the popular/likable people.

I'm not sure what you mean. But I have not seen anything like that here.
I have found everyone to be supportive and supported.
Has something happened to make you think that?

A agree with Chi. I've never seen it either since I've joined this forum. This is a good supportive forum. Keep posting.

I couldn't tell you who is popular here and who isn't. Maybe your just being sensative ? I know being an alkie that I take everything personally.....or I did until I found a good recovery program.

I'm not sure what you're referring to either.

We are all here to help each other along. Sometimes some threads get more attention than others for a variety of reasons and it's nothing personal.

Is there something we can help you with?

Thanks

I guess I'm being a bit too sensitive. It's hard to figure things out right now. I'm feeling particulary bad about myself today (or rather always these days).

some of us know each other for more time, others are only getting to know..i only got here in April and it does take time to get to know people, but everybody supports everybody, there are many threads..so sometimes it's hard to respond to all....

You will feel right at home in no time.
If anyone does..I do. LOL.
Theres nothing I wont post on here. I feel that comfortable.
And sometimes I dont like some of the responses I get. But they are all honest from different point of view. Thats what I love about it.
Come as you are. Nobody is judged ever. At least not to their face...J/K!!!!!!

Wow.The thought of being able to be completly honest on this board is both relieving and scary. I don't think I've ever been completely honest anywhere except with a therapist and even then I held things back. Thanks-I'm glued to this site today. At this point this site is my HP until I can find a home group, sponsor, etc

Well if you feel nervous just read some of my posts.
I pretty much put it all on the table.
And this is the only place I am truely honest.
I dont even say some of this stuff to my grams and she knows everything about me.

Glad you're here! I know how you feel.....I have lots of days like that. "why isn't anyone replying to my post? did I say something wrong? what's wrong with me?" We all feel like that sometimes.

I am more honest here than I have ever been. Even in therapy sessions, I have a hard time being honest or telling the whole truth. SR helps me to be honest with myself and sort of keep myself in check.

hugs

The 1st part of recovery is accepting that it is not all about you ( thinking that you are less than or more than ) and understanding that you are powerless over addiction. Addiction is an equal opportunity destroyer. It works if you work it no matter who you are. It just takes the courage and willingness to start the process of getting well. Good luck to you in your journey.
