I find such peace every morning just looking over the bay behind my house, smelling the morning freshness, listening to the birds sing their morning songs and today, listening to the owls hoot their "good-nights".

The sky and the water's reflection of such beautiful light remind me that all is well and just as God planned it for today.

I wanted to share it with each of you, so take pause for a moment and come stand with me as we welcome another beautiful day.




And the darkness turns to light...just as it always does...

This shows part of the forest next door and right after I put my camera away one of the foxes ran by, returning from his night hunts and heading back to it's den for the day. That will teach me to think I am finished, lol.

I am up each morning about 4:30 which may seem early but at least I sleep through these nights and no longer have insomnia. Even weekends, when I could sleep later, I still find myself wide awake by 5 am.

But the upside of all this is that I get to watch the world wake up beginning with the sunrise and the birds. It is such a quiet peaceful time of day for me and I love to get a few hours in before I begin working.

I can't adopt you all but I can share my world with you right here.

Glad you are enjoying this, it's just to pretty to keep all to myself.

Ann you have the best pics. Have you ever thought of taking some of them & making a calander? Like Lake codi for a summer month. the codi bus for back to school in sept. Ok wait, everyone sends pics, Greet could have a summer month too with camp codi. Loves, well she could send a pic of a map saying you are here, no here, where were we going? Lil pony could send a great shot of the new house. kj had Niagra falls that one could be feb for valentines day. Just think of the fun we could have.
