I was just wondering if anyone else watches ASMR videos as a way to control their anxiety. I absolutely love them; they've changed my life. I've been watching them for about a year and a half and they've helped me so much.
Do any of you guys watch these and if so, what are your triggers and do you have any videos to recommend?
PS I hope sharing vid links is ok?

Never heard of them . As for my anxiety it can get triggered by things without me knowing it . My Dr said , things that bothered me the day before can come back to cause them . Even if I Think I dealt with it . I can wake up & have one come on . I just never know when & were , pretty weird ..
Sounds like you found something that works Great

I find them very useful. I love having my feet massaged and gently tickled, and when my on again-off again girlfriend isn't available to provide that, or I don't have the $30-60 to spend at the Chinese spa, watching a video of it is almost just as good. Definitely makes me less anxious and decreases my pulse and blood pressure.
I also leave on rain videos sometimes through the night.

I first found these vids about 18 months ago... so glad I wasn't the only person to get this weird feeling that was occasionally triggered ever since childhood. Went a bit nuts on ASMR stuff for a bit, responding more and more strongly and more and more reliably till... one day it just stopped working. Get the odd hint now and then, but mostly nothing :-(
Chemist's shops (pharmacy, drug store) were a favourite RL trigger. Stepping from a noisy street into the sudden calm of their small shop, the low throb of the air conditioner, some accented person behind the counter running through their diagnostic/sales pitch, tapping on boxes....
Current top video on my bedtime playlist..

Ardra Neala is of course brilliant -
Whispering and fur stroking -

Having some girl make you sit in a chair then put a nice squeaky pair of closed back headphones on your head, while fiddling with phono jacks..

lots of great stuff on her channel
Honorable mention to Softlygaloshes, with her clean wall of crinkle
