I know it varies from person to person but what is the best anxiety control which is common to almost every body?

Hi Help and welcome.

I think that there are various methods of controlling anxiety and some are good for you while others may not be as effective. It varies. Some people need to take medication, while others use natural remedies.

What works for me is a combination of CBT, exercise, good therapist, herbal remedies, good social and family life, being involved in a project and sometimes medication.

Allt the best.

Exercise, exercise, exercise, clean and sober (including no nicotine) and a good diet. Also vitamin supplements.

When I have extreme anxiety or panic attacks I try to talk myself through it and remind myself that it's passing and due to stress. It's a simple method, but highly effective.

Daily meditation as well as cutting out stimulants such as caffeine and exercise seem to be beneficial across the board. Personally, I have found long walks and meditation to be most effective.

I have anxiety / PTSD, and what has helped me over the past few years of getting control of this:

a competent therapist who is sympathetic
medication (Lexapro)
yoga
learning to let go of those things that I cannot control
a good support system (my husband, friends)
my cat!
adequate sleep
eating well
cycling (it is my "daily therapy"--long bike rides help calm my anxiety and keep focused and balanced).
and go easy on yourself; sometimes we can be our own worst enemies.

Hugs to you!
