Glad to see you looking for help, I am asuming you dont have medical insurance, if you do have it your doctor can recomend a treatment facility,
if not you can check with your local A.A. they will be able to stear you in the right direction,

some of us do need medical help at first ( detox)

I would recomend following up with A.A. I have been very satisfied with my experience with A.A.

Where to start

Most cities do have at least one hospital that you can detox in, (if needed), without insurance. AA is where you can learn to live without the drink. Good luck and God speed.

Wow - just got a sober recovery community inquiry on how I am doing. What a wonderful thing to feel like someone even cares. I posted first 0n 2-24 looking for place to start recovery or to stop drinking. I started right here, about 48 hours into detox. So far, so good. I used the suppliment suggestions from Caseinpoint and feel fine. Tough time is always evenings, when I am alone. I would like to use this fourm for support at those times. Thanks for your help.
