Rational Recovery?

Has anyone heard of Rational Recovery using AVRT (Assertive Voice Recognition Therapy)? I recently saw a book on it and wonder if anyone has any opinions on it?

I'd suggest you post this question in the Alcoholism forum, rather than the AA forum. There have been some discussions of RR there already, and some folks at SoberRecovery are familiar with the book and with AVRT.
