How can I exorcise these demons

by Steven Beesley

Frustration within.
So many different feelings, it is hard to begin.
Pent up and so disillusioned.
Depression soon to become the conclusion.

How can I exorcise these demons?
To be rid of such hellish creations.
Please cleanse me of such possessions.
So I may be free from self encapsulation.

Find an AA meeting near you

I suffered with alcoholism for almost 15 years until I finally had hit bottom and went to AA. It is the only thing that has ever worked for me. I've been sober for 3 years now. My life is truly amazing today compared to where I was.

Who was I three years ago? Pretty much a sociopath. I didn't care about anyone except myself. I did not believe in God. I was a disgusting and immoral person. Today I love myself and others. I have a God. I have a beautiful girlfriend and am truly grateful for all the blessings God has given me.

Part of my life today is reaching out to others that need help. You can quit, but you have to be willing. Willingness is the key. The key to willingness is honesty, open mindedness and humility.
