You can do it! Life is so much better sober.

You never have to go through this again!

SSTONE - As miserable as it is in the beginning, you are on your way to getting free. Proud of you.

Welcome SSTONE11.

Tired, exhausted, crying, tossing and and turning, run down, emotionally beaten up; all of that will pass. None of that is fatal, just a pain in the ass. Untreated alcoholism is fatal, not to mention hell. You are standing up for yourself and saying enough is enough. Keep at it!

When you think about it, tired, exhausted, crying, tossing and and turning, run down, emotionally beaten up; all of that is a small price of admission to pay for a better life.

All this will pass in time although difficult to endure right now. It will all be worth it and you will definitely feel better. You will never have to feel this way again. Push on and hang in there. You can do this.

Not much to add. Yes, the first few days are always tough. However, I found that when I truly surrendered and embraced recovery, my life got better and better. It happened for me, it can happen for you too!
