My "get organized" conquest
I have a 3-day weekend this week and a 4-day weekend next week. We suddenly have a spare bedroom so I'm filling it with all my "stuff" and hoping to consolidate and/or out right get rid of things. I had crates and bins stacked in about all corners of the bedroom plus a closet or two. I've always admired the minimalist lifestyle, so this may be the beginning of a beautiful thing.
Its unbelievable how clutter one can accumulate when they're actively drinking all the time.

I am very good at collecting things whether or not I'm drinking. I guess it's a talent I have! 😅
But I can only de-clutter when I'm sober. Right now I have 4 large trash bags ready to be donated after the holidays. Getting them out out OUT of my house will feel so good!

This is an addiction all its own. I promised myself I'd relax today. Our Sunday School shut down for a weeks (online services due to Covid) and here I am still organizing after spending half of Christmas Day and most of yesterday moving things to a spare bedroom. Now I'm going through desk drawers and purging old stuff. Like, why do I have the receipt of a laptop I bought in 2010? For realz...
