Please stay on the Sober bus - pt.25
I shall say this only once
Surgery done
Much diff than surgery b4 Xms- that was a circus- preop assessments, 3-different dates in Unit, half a day tests preop- ECG etc, then later- surgery.
Including commute time- around 40 hours over4 weeks
The notification, admission, tests and surgery this time all done in 28 hours flat.
The anxiety (flashbacks etc) much worse than being here
I was given the 'airline hostess ' type talk on side effects, but this time mentioned strokes, death...and maybe needing to gouge out most of my little finger meat and putting a wire in. And maybe needing to do a deep skin harvest in the groin area- but alas, nay gentle readers- small graft near birthday dent, in until at least Monday
glad over

Get well soon PJ! ☼
Today (11th April) is...Pet Day!
Pet Day is a chance for those of us who own pets to show
them how much we love them.
Now, we all can think of the traditional things:
a new toy, some tasty treats, or a long walk in the park,
maybe a game of fetch, assuming you have a dog!
That dog might have too much love today!
Have a good day Sober Buskateers!

Yea, he's mine. It was my son that wanted a dog, but ended up mine. He follows and hangs with me where ever I go. Here's a before pic sporting his winter coat (shot taken and enhanced by my daughter).
Awww he's a cutie! I want a dog....or ten...lol
Hoppin' on the Soberbus & gotta stay on.....had some thoughts yesterday about this coming weekend, but turns out I'm going by myself so it'll force me to behave
