Need help....
1,
You have been around a while.
When we relapse after years of trying to get clean the help still comes, but at this point, it sounds the same.
Make a new plan, hit up AA etc etc.
Folks give up and die drunk.
The addiction never goes away, it only sits back in the shadows.
I had been active on threads w folks regretting relapse after decades of sobriety.
We can only keep trying.
Thanks.

Hello,
if it's making you ill, there's only one cure and that's to stop.
You can do it again.
I drank to self-medicate so I know what you mean.
The only thing is, alcohol works great at numbing our true feelings. But the consequence's are so dire.
It's deceptive. Alcohol turns on us and turns us into something we didn't plan on and then alcohol becomes the problem, not the cure.
I feel for you. I hope you can stop drinking because it does make us very ill.
Best to you in sobriety.

I'm sorry you're struggling again 1Step.
Please do whatever you need to do, man - AA rehab - whatever...
I know it sounds backwards, but getting sober is your best chance of actually dealing with that emotional pain and putting it behind you.

How are you today? Please try to go to AA or maybe check into a detox and start inpatient or outpatient rehab. My Ex just relapsed for the fifth time...You have to want to do this and take steps to make sure it happens...You can do this
