Feeling positive after my first alcohol therapy. The lady was lovely and understanding, I got emotional talking through certain aspects of my reasons to how everything came to be and IV realised the real hard work has only just begun.

Iv got a lot of raw stuff to revisit and iv never been good about talking feelings and events that have caused me pain but I know it's crucial to my recovery. Now as an adult I have the key to set myself free and I'm going to use it.

I'm hoping down the line I can get some confidence in myself and be able to cope with life on life's terms.

Sounds like you are definitely on the right track LPG. Kudos to you for going and keeping an open mind. It's not always comfortable but then again nothing worth having ever is. Already have achieved a lot...little by little you will be amazed how much progress you will make. Keep at it.
