How do I get help with no money
I know I need outside help. Meetings are very good for me but I think I need some one-on-one time. Can anyone let me know about some resources they found? I'm broke and losing everything but I know I need help to get back to a productive member of society. Any suggestions are welcome.
I believe that 311 is a universal number in the US where you can call for referrals/advice on resources. You could also look into an Intensive Outpatient Program - the one I attended offered scholarships for people who needed financial assistance.

Welcome MF - agree with Dee- a sponsor is exactly 1-on-1 recovery focus, though not a professional dr-patient relationship.
Depending on what state you are in - assuming you are US? - there are likely some programs geared toward low or no income folks. I'd start by Googling terms around recovery, alcoholism, low income, subsidy, and so on. I can try to help by PM if you are in GA or SC, possibly TN.
Regardless of financial status - and I know it is tough when you truly have little or you feel overwhelmed at the thought of the possibility of needing money for care- I believe it's possible to get sober.
Best to you.

Iop is ridiculously $$$ in CA, as is inpatient. You can check with the county....but...
that's one of the main reasons I love AA. You don't have to own a dime to get really intense attention from people invested in your sobriety which is the kind of support some people need to get through the process.
My iop eventually led to AA for most folks in there anyway so you might as well just jump into the program head first.
