Please stay on the Sober bus - pt.19
Ringo,
I have lived in the USA for 19 years on July 10, since my wedding. My husband has worked in the USA for almost 25 years (we dated long distance). When he graduated from college, he moved to CT to work in his dad's company. His dad sold it and my husband continued there for a few years before finding other work. His job opportunities have been much better in the USA...much bigger job market. I teach, so finding new positions is much easier here. In Ontario, public school teaching positions are highly coveted. Thanks for asking!

The sober bus song is wonderful.
A little folk fable..When Ghengis Khan was a wee lad (before his taking over the world days) he was fighting with his bro's. His mum got each of them to break an arrow...then got them to try and break a whole bunch of arrows tied together- and they would not break...she said people, like the arrows can break as individuals, but together they are strong.

Hi everyone I am still on Our Sober Bus; the "Bus that Bob Built"
I am finding that the more sober time that builds up in me, I see some solutions, or at least different ways of reacting to, or working through, some of "my world problems"
At times when if felt like I was so 'stuck' I am starting to 'see' outside of the cage I put myself in.

TIME- I just happened to catch 2 minutes of Sesame St when looking for news (really!). Elmo was saying 'calm down and think!'...out of the mouths of muppet babe's.
Sao- I gather the pug was asking about sausages, not bottoms?

Elmo needs to calm down and think, and he has a coach! does he win that shiny new bicycle horn?

Just staying home with my little family of 4 for most of the day. We might go to the movies. I will pick out something to BBQ for dinner. We will go see fireworks in the evening...even the grumpy hubby who prefers to stay home. We drag him out every year calling him an old man. I tell you what I won't be doing...sneaking a cocktail or two along. So nice not to be hiding things.
