Day 46.
46 days sober now.. after a bad relapse this past winter. Went to treatment for 28 days. Was so refreshing to connect with other alcoholics/addicts and actually work the steps. Was also really nice to care about other people, and be honest. I'm back home now...going to continue the steps, have a sponsor...but I need to be committed. No more white-knuckling, no more getting complacent...I want this sober life so badly. No more doing it alone and no more isolation.
Congrats froscow, 46 days is great! Glad you are seeking other ways to stay committed - keep working with your sponsor and going to meetings. Maybe you could join one of the class threads here too to get some daily work/conversations with people here?

Where is the link to that on this site? And thanks guys.
Pasted below. You don't have to "sign up" for any of the threads, just join in and post! There are generally threads for people who quit in a particular month, and there are also weekly and even weekender threads.

Thanks a lot guys. It means a lot. One thing has been bugging me though a tad......relapse dreams. I had another one last night. They arent pleasant "good ole early days of drinking" dreams...I can feel the pain, remorse, and hopelessness in these dreams of my addiction...and then I wake up and I'm just like "thank god that was just a dream!!!". In a weird way I'm somewhat thankful for these nightmares? Because they make me appreciate my sobriety even more. They're just not pleasant at the time obviously.
Great job on 46 days.. 60 right around the corner!! Glad you're in the program and have a sponsor! HUGE!!!
Take it slow and steady! work the steps, go to meetings, help another drunk, participate here!!
nice job, keep it up, it only gets better! Wishing you the best!
