Hope I don’t jinx myself, lol!

We hosted a holiday party last night. We bought 12 bottles of wine and seriously boozy egg nog. I was afraid I might have problems but I didn’t feel the least bit tempted. We bought plastic shot glass for the eggnog which I passed around. No temptation. A couple of guys got drunk which was gross to me (they weren’t driving.).
People are seriously messy too. I was running after people picking crumbs and stuff off the floor before others ground them in.

A couple of guys brought their own beer in a cooler. I think I’m going to start doing that too with my sparkling water/ cranberry concoction.

That way I know i have something I like.

Great job on not joining in on the drinking amongst so many that were! Drunk people really get on my nerves whenever I've been sober. You'd think I'd have more tolerance having been a drunk for all these years, but nope!

I lived with a sloppy drunk who had tons of his sloppy drunk friends around.

The only way I could tolerate it was to join them.

I'd have sober periods and realize I couldn't be around it. Not because it would tempt me, but because it would disgust me.

Suggestion; Try cinnamon sticks in your concoction. I make it every year since being sober. Really tasty holiday drink!!
