Sober 16 days now!!!

:rose I haven't realized it but I have been sober 16 days now!!!!! I have been really tempted but have stayed strong and It feels great. Halloween is coming up and that will be the biggest test of all (it used to be my favorite partying holiday; 2nd only to Mardi Gras) I feel so focused and alive right now. Not only do I feel good about myself but I am also proud that I am doing something that will benefit my whole family. I am going to try and attend my 1st AA meeting Thursday, hopefully I will have the courage when it comes time to go. I hope everybody is doing good, take care and God bless.

Way to go Dee, your friends at SR will be with you in spirit as you go to your first meeting. Don't be afraid, it will be an awesome experience. Congrats and keep up the good work!

Great Dee,
keep up the good work. cool your gonna check out some meetings, hope you find them helpful. lifes much better without the wasting of time and all the nonsense and worse that drinking causes in our lives.
thats how I liked it when I just forgot to count and when the 10th day of each month came around I would notice and say hey I got another month. easier that way.
take care, your doing great, keep it up

Congrats Dee

I've been to 7 AA meetings in the last two weeks. It really is so worthwhile being amongst fellow sufferers. I always come away with positive feelings following my AA meetings.

There trully is a world of support out there. I hope you find it.
