cant believe its been a year. this time last year I was in rehab out of my mind so to be where I am now for me is amazing. like wise I'm looking forward to seeing how I am in another year

Six hundred thirty four days of sobriety for me. I sit here on this Saturday morning with my kiddos still asleep, sipping a cup of coffee, and waiting for the sun to rise so that I can head out for a nice long jog. My life is far from perfect, it is very much a work in progress, but at least I have a proper foundation in place that allow for great things to happen.

I had a dream last night about being at a work happy hour. I didn't drink, but it was difficult. I think the dream was my brain preparing me to go to a party today where there will be a ton of wine. I plan to go to a meeting before and after.

Hang in there Heath! I can relate as there are a lot of things going on around me right now that I have no control over. I've been saying the serenity prayer a lot lately and trusting that my HP will guide me in knowing what the next right thing to do (or not do) is.
