I just want to get threw the the night sober

Was on my way to the liquor store to by ale. But I pulled into a Mobile gas station that doesn't serve alcohol and bought some powerade instead. This is a big victory I prayed in the car it worked. Day one all out of cash bought some food also. I'm gonna make it threw the night craving really bad tomorrow will be another battle.

Tuck yourself in & go to sleep!

Sleeping can get you through the night...

I couldn't sleep steady in the beginning, but I just snuggled down under the covers & stayed cozy there.

Then morning is a whole new day...

During my 27 years of daily drinking I rarely had a sober day. I tried many times while driving home to not stop and buy alcohol and I failed 99.9% of the times.

The few days I remained sober I felt good about myself but it never stuck - my heart wasn't into quitting. Until you really want sobriety with all your heart and soul it won't happen.

Every time you have a victory it makes you believe in yourself a little more.

Every day that alcohol is out of our brains we gain back a little more of our sanity back.

The fact that you were able to do this says the sober person inside of you really, really wants out.

You can do this.

Great job so far! In the early days it may help to plan your days. Even things like driving so as to avoid places selling liquor. Anyways, have a sober weekend!
