Please Stay On The Sober Bus With Us -- pt 2
Always room for more on the sober bus....
Originally constructed in 1931 from red Alberta brick and Tyndall stone, this Winnipeg Christie’s Biscuits factory was appropriately transformed into a hub of support services for children living with disabilities.

Luv riding this sober bus. Who on with us today?
Canada's finest provincial legislative building. Completed in 1920, the Manitoba legislative building is studded with hieroglyphics, freemasonic symbols and numeric codes. The building is also famous for the Golden Boy perched facing North on the dome. A gold leafed bronze status based on the style of the Greek god Hermes. From April thru October you can book a 'Hermetic Code Tour' and learn about the intrigue of this ode to Olympus.

I hope you feel better soon Ringo.
I'm on and a lot earlier than yesterday.
It is a friend of mine's 58th birthday today and I will be seeing him later this evening. Thesedays he is a modest drinker so it won't cause me any problems. In the past we would get really drunk but since I quit he has really cut down. I fear I was a bad influence on him.

What could be better that a Saturday on the Sober Bus?
The Winnipeg MTS Center (Soon to be the 'Bell MTS Center' now that Bell have merged with Manitoba Telephone systems). Home of the Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose. Owned and operated by 'True North Sports & Entertainment' who were responsible for bringing the Jets back to Winnipeg in 2011. That is why we yell 'True North' during the national anthem at every Winnipeg Jets game.

Good morning, I'm a bit late checking in today.
This is the Witches hut, from the Hansel and Gretel story. It can be found in Kildonan Park, in Winnipeg. Built in 1970, the Witch's Hut was a Centennial Project of the German Community and a gift to the children of Manitoba.

Hopping on the sober bus extra early this morning. It's a wonderful morning to be sober.
In a few short hours, my, my wife and two adult kids will be sitting in Vancouver Airport (Below). Awaiting our flight to Honolulu. WooHoo! Unfortunately, it 's going to be a long wait.
