Our first sober thoughts of the day
I woke up this morning from the 'ding' of a medication reminder from my phone.
Meaning that I slept through the night soundly and even slept in a little bit. A stark difference from when I've been drinking and I spend most of the night tossing and turning with the sweats and earth-ending anxiety.
It's my son's birthday! What a great day to be sober and feel good.

SR is where I spend my morning time too!!!
My first sober thoughts when I wake up are gratitude to God for looking out for Jack when he was lost last fall. Also grateful to wake up sober and feeling good with both dogs on the bed.

Spent the weekend visiting my brother, sister in law and new niece. I cooked dinner for them and helped out with the dogs and the baby. First thought this morning --while sipping my coffee and preparing for my first week at my new job -- Thank God for my sobriety. I hope I never drink again. My life has gotten so good. I'm so grateful to be alive and sober.
