I quit drinking for several years, and started drinking again six months or so ago. I don't drink very often, but when I do, I drink way more than I should. Especially when I go out. Last night was one of those nights.

I've felt very guilty today. I woke up at 2:00 p.m. and I've done pretty much nothing today. I don't like living like this. Life is difficult enough as it is.

The good news is I don't feel hopeless. I know I can beat this. I just need to take it one day at a time and stick with it.

It feels bad now, but the good news is that you have done this before and can do it again. Most of us have.

And we have a finite amount of life (I plan to exit this world in a box).
