I have no idea if he is an alcoholic. Sometimes he drinks more, sometimes he drinks less. But it would have been nice for him to abstain last night knowing that I was 4 days sober, now 5.

Yes, he was in a sober living house when I met him and was supposedly trying to quit drinking 5 years ago. He also was sober for awhile after we met. But he now drinks and smokes pot. But he was in the sober living house he says for meth and not drinking.

Yes, we did have that rule of no alcohol in the apartment, but then he was always wanting to rush out with me so he could get some, so we abandoned that rule. And now last night he drank on his work day. I guess there are really no more rules, as I am powerless over his drinking. I just hope it does not get out of control. Last night he was fine - I think he only had a few beers and then came to bed.
