Thanks foe asking, got to day two on a proper taper and here I am again drunk as **** ): Thank you for inquiring though..i seriously thoggt that was it, I was done, two days and I was sure I had a hold on it, adanant, absoluteu sure....what the hell am I...need to let go of control...i have so many control issues.... I am not in control of this.. Thank you. All of you, for your continued support and patience while I am in this, we are all the same, yet I feel so.much less than all of you..i know that's a self deveption but please remember how powerful you are for ovsrcoming this bevause it is horrifyingly controlling and I am battling it every god damn day

Can you pour out any remaing alcohol but do it for you no one else you deserve better than allow yourself to be chained down by alcohol like i was once

Yeah. Trying again, back in the detox. Always feel mildly embarrassed reading posts I typed while out of my mind...

Hang in there. I just went through a similar experience. Very scary. I went to the doc he gave me some meds. It takes time every day is a little better. I never want to go through that again. Thank goodness for this community. 7 days sober.

Congrats 2change, seven days, that's awesome. Haven't been able to get past day 2/3 for a very long time. Tried to get meds but the doctors here have been unhelpful at best and dismissive.

Thanks Dee I hope so too. I'm so exhausted.

Taper with beer. Drink a lot of Gatorade. Mix emergen c packs with water. Drink lots of water. Eat food. Take b vitamin mix supplements. That's what I did to stop. Don't give up and stay strong.
