Test Results

Just got my blood test results back. Liver function is all normal. Dodged that bullet again, but staying out of the shooting gallery from now on. My luck was about to run out.

The only numbers that were low were Vitamin D (too much time indoors this Winter), and testosterone levels (I am hot on the heels of 50, after all!). Not taking either of those lightly, btw, just happy my liver is still in good shape.

Get, your low vitamin D levels might be somewhat attributable to your alcoholism as well. Mine rebounded back to normal after several months of sobriety.

I was half the age of 50 when my T levels died.

Me, too! Finding out that after 25 years of daily, heavy drinking, my organs were still healthy... well, it kind of lit a fire under me. Decided to get out while the gettin' was good.
