I hear a lot about insomnia after getting sober. Anyone here besides me have hypersomnia? I can sleep for a good 12-16 hours at a time. Since quitting alcohol and marijuana at the same time I sleep a lot more. My blood pressure and weight have also gone down. Maybe this is due to depression. Alright, well back to bed. Goodnight.

I sometimes wish I did Sero...but no, 5-6 hours is my limit.

It certainly could be depression related, but I'm no doctor...

Yes, I did. I can't remember for exactly how long but it was for months...I wear glasses for reading and would be asleep before my head would hit the pillow, I would wake up still wearing my glasses and I would sleep without moving.
Sadly it is not the case now but I put that down to family health concerns.

I had both. It was a pain getting to sleep but then I would sleep for obscene amounts of time, wake up, and nap two hours later! Then awake for 24 hours! I just saw it as my body healing.

I could sleep that long for sure easy, but ive never woken up by myself. i always get woken up, i however cant get to sleep at night for the life of me
