Brand spanking new......
hi everyone,
I came to realize last Saturday night after 23 years
of drinking, I have had enough. This has been a rough
week, but I do feel much better and I know I have a
long way to go. The post I have read are very helpful,
anyway just wanted to introduce myself.

day to day.....
if I think I can't make it alone, I will seek help. I already
have the local AA phone number. I know this is a huge
task I am taking on, eventually I will need some support.

Hi Super, Glad you found SR, I'm Deg, an alkie from the UK. Don't pick up that drink and you're going to make it.
It will feel like you are never going to stop thinking about drink forever! It does get easier though.
