Talking 28 Days

Hi everyone....I have been 28 days sober now..I haven't had cravings but once or twice I have been eating a lot healthier etc...Drinking lot of water...I was drinking a 12 pack + a night....My question is I am a little depressed not bad but just sad feeling ..And I don't know why...I sleep better I eat better I wasn't depressed while drinking I figured that would be the time to be depressed....Anyone else experience this????

Still early days, if like me your drinking career lasted years, it's going to take longer than 4 weeks fro your body to adjust and heal!!

Keep pushing through!! It does get better!!

Yep, been there. Hopefully it will level out on its own for you. If not, then it's something to see a professional about.

Well, maybe see how you feel around six months to a year, then re-evaluate. But if it's really bad you might need to go ahead and make an appt.

congrats on 28 days, I agree that it takes time, and we all recover at a different pace, as pk sez - it depends on our history and other variables.

at around six months I started to notice a difference in myself. Just don't lose hope - stick with it.
