Hope Everyont Made it Through the Holidays!

I know for myself the holidays and meeting up with old friends are the most trying times to keep from saying "just tonight". Keep hanging in there and try to remember why you became sober. Here's to 2015! Thanks SR!

Yes I made it through my first sober holidays. Still can't quite believe it. How did I do it? I remembered that I simply couldn't bear one more more five-day hangover. Never again.

It was good, just another day in the life is all. Very cold, lots of people driving like idiots. Can usually peg what "type" they are. One guy tried to side swipe me on a through lane merge, commercial van, looked food oriented, yeah you know the "type" of driver that is.

People lose track of lane control, so 2 lanes becomes 1. Or you have a lane that is clear with no snow that swerves into the break down shoulder so everyone has to drive in the same clear area.....no no not me, I follow the traffic code! Should put a camera on my vehicle so when stuff happens I get a quicky payout from their insurance. What else, thats it, love my 4wd, love my winter tires, love my hot heater in my truck, love my car starter, no I never complain about traffic, nor weather, or job, work mates in meetings just here, cant get tired.

I failed on mine... huge bender. Less holidays and more loneliness. Next year I'll get back to you with my success story.

Congratulations to everyone on your time sober and a beautiful, happy new year.
