Happy new year to all my SR friends. My nye eve was unspectacular. It was not loud, amazing. we did not party or set the town alight. I did not dance my socks off (although I've definitely proved to myself that I can, sober!). I decided a few days before I was definitely NOT going to the pub this year. I was going to cook one of my amazing Indians & stay in! I was quite prepared to stay in on my own, with my doglegs of course & see the new year in, in style.

I invited a couple of special friends & they accepted my invitation surprisingly, they weren't doing pub either. They came round @7.30, well on time! We devoured as much food as we could, the Indian, lamb curry, now that was amazing! Loads of delicious pudding with cream. They had a couple of wines, hubby had one cider, me, sparkling water with lime. We then retired to the lounge, watched Telly, chatted, laughed, looked different restaurants & clothes etc on the Internet which we want to go for in the coming new year, and just generally had a lovely cozy, warm, peaceful and actually totally beautiful amazing nye. I totally recommend it for all that & not a hangover in sight, yipppeeee!!!!!!

Amazing I stayed sober I gave my friend a ride to his **** test then his moms house then to his place he asked if I wanted to stay and drink some beer and said no thanks I'm going home I have 8 days now and happy new year great post lilly.

Happy New Year to everyone. It is so awesome to wake up this morning knowing that I didn't, in any way, make an ass of myself last night.
