My recovery!

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum, I just want to share my addiction and recovery experience. I started drinking alcohol since I was 18 (by the way I'm 39) until I get stuck and get addicted to it. My life ruins is because of alcohol, My wife and kids left me, I lost my job, lost my house, I lost everything. Then I realize I have to change my life, I've been 4 years sober until now, I got my job back, my wife and my children come back to me. If you really want to beat addiction and to have changes in your life you have done everything. It's very happy to live clean and sober from addiction. That all guys!

Hey tgreen- Welcome!

Congrats on the 4 years! It sounds like you wee able to dig yourself out of the trenches, so to speak, so I have to applaud your strength. Hopefully you'll be able to share some of that, which can be an inspiration to many of us.

I wish you the best with your continued success.
