Today is my birthday. I am sitting in a cafe in New Orleans having a cafe americano. The buddy I came down this weekend to visit is at work, and I am getting on a plane soon to go home.
I haven't had a drink. I have not had a drink since October 31st. I have cried and craved and cried, but I haven't caved. I am living my life without alcohol.
This is just a check in note to all my friends here - I'm starting to feel happiness, and want happiness for everyone here. You are more than your need for alcohol.
